We can transfer your deposit to another date for £50 charge.
We recommend that you take out travel insurance to cover your hire fee in the event that you have to cancel your booking within 4 weeks of the hire date.
Additionally this will cover any of your own loses for ferries or campsites that may have been booked in the event of either the hirer or Go Venture Vans having to cancel.

Our VW Transporters can be hired by 21-79 year olds with a standard policy excess/security deposit of £1000.
Our VW Crafters can be hired by 25-79 year olds with a standard policy excess/security deposit of £1000.
With referral to our insurer we maybe able to cover younger drivers for our VW Crafters with good & relevant driving history where the excess typically increases to £1500+
We can point you in the right direction to take out excess protection insurance, this is normally fairly low cost.
Our insurance covers drivers with the following current endorsements
Drivers with the following will require to be referred to our insurer, who may apply an additional excess for the driver, or decline to cover the driver

Our campervans come equipped with full range of kitchen utensils; pans, cutlery, glasses, mugs, plates, bowls, colander, washing up bowl, kettle.

Linen sets, (double & single), bike racks, drive-away awnings.

In general No, we give our campervans a thorough clean after each hire.
In general use the guide if you’d be happy to have your campervan/car returned that way then so are we, we trust your judgement.
However;
Exterior – if the exterior is extremely dirty/muddy then there will be an additional charge.
Inside – if this is dirty and worktops, hob, sink, cupboards need significant cleaning then there will be an additional charge.
Only with our Go Anywhere Transporter, our VW crafters do not currently have Towbars
Definitely, we don;t go anywhere without our bikes.
A 4 bike towbar mounted bike rack is available as an extra with the Go anywhere transporter.
The VW Crafters have slide out equipment trays that can take upto 4 bikes.
Our campervans are fitted with the latest mobile aerial technology this is 4G as 5G is not widely available in Scotland currently.
The signal strength is significantly better than that received on your phone (although can’t be guaranteed in all areas).
The service is provided through Vodafone and is unlimited in upload/download data and speed (speed subject to signal strength where you are).
Yes, you are welcome to leave your car in our secure compound. All we ask is that you leave your car keys with us so we can move it if necessary. Please note however, that your vehicle and contents are left at entirely your own risk.
In the unlikely event of a breakdown of the vehicle call the RAC the number is supplied in the motorhome there is full breakdown cover.
If anything goes wrong with the equipment please call +44 7768 408346 at your earliest convenience and we will do what we can to help from there.

The campervans are provided with a Gas Cylinder, and one small spare cylinder.
In the event that you run out of Gas we ask that you pay for a refill and keep the receipt.
On return of the campervan we will refund the gas cost on production of the receipt.
Note: all cylinders must be returned where they have not been exchanged for full cylinders.
We provide the campervans full of fuel.
They should be returned in the same condition (full tank).
If returned with less than a full tank we charge a refuelling fee of £35 plus the cost of the fuel
We do not mark-up the cost of the diesel and only pass on what we pay.
Our standard Insurance covers drivers from all EU countries, Australia, New Zealand as long as they meet the driver requirements. Minimum 2 years driving experience, full licence, no more than 6 points or 2 fault accidents in the last 3 years.
For drivers from/with USA, Canada, South Africa licence then there is additional deposit/excess requirements,
For other countries please contact us as we can cover most countries with insurance company approval (typically the excess on the policy is increased to £700 or £1000)

However unless agreed then the pick-up and drop off times are fixed, late arrival means that we may not be able available to to hand over the campervan or an additional charge may apply. Late drop off will incur a £50 per hour charge up to a maximum of £150 plus any loss of hire fees/additional costs incurred by Go Venture Vans as a result of late drop off.
